Kreacher the house elf

Created this one while working through the last Harry Potter book. Just a quick sketch that took a few minutes.

Life drawing using Sketchbook Pro

These are two sketches created in a life drawing session this weekend in St. Pete. It was the first time I used sketchbook pro to create life drawings.

Jewish High Priest entering the Holy Place

This is a grouping of sketches I created using a ball-point pen and my wacom tablet. They were created quickly. The coloring technique gives the sketch as well as the subject a direction of movement.

This truck was sketched using a ballpoint pen and scanned in for photoshopping.

This is one of a series of sketches I did for a client (which can't be named, sorry). It was created by first sketching on paper, then scanning and adding values in photoshop. The orthographics at the bottom right help the viewer understand what they are looking at and how it could be manufactured.

Here is a digital painting I created by first sketching on paper, then scanning and adding color in photoshop. The idea was to have one-man mechs, like this one, patrol military facilities with marshy or wooded terrain which would be difficult for a typical 4x4 vehicle.
